I look all over my house, and there is just stuff. I’m in a former bedroom/craft room/storage room, and now most recently my office. There is STUFF, piled everywhere. More now than ever, I want LESS stuff. Stuff that doesn’t get touched needs to go away.
There is some stuff that just stays dorment. It has a purpose. I’m not throwing away my camping tent, because it only gets taken out 4 times a year. Those memories are worth the physical space it enhabits. But 8 bath mats? For 2 bath tubs? They were originaly for the guenie pigs, but now… They just sit here.
My work bench is a PRIME example. It’s a hot mess. I have elevnty different projects strewn about. It is just a clutter collecter at the moment.
The WORST of all of this! THE WORST! I am a Lean person. I am someone who LOVES organization and efficiency and flow! I LOVE IT! It makes me happy! But this STUFF, does not!
Dear non-essential stuff, We’ve had a good run. We just don’t see eye to eye anymore. I’m taking you to your new home at the Union Gospel Mission. I’ve changed. Grown out of ‘us.’ We’re done.
